Description

Raksha Bandhan is, literally, the bond of protection. The nazar is protection's oldest logo. Putting them together is not a design choice, it is just completing the sentence.

The unblinking blue eye rides a cotton thread with a seed paper base and real mustard seeds at its centre. Alongside it, a seed paper greeting card for the sentimental paragraph you will deny writing, and roli chawal pockets in cotton marble paper for the tilak.

All the paper is handmade seed paper, upcycled cotton scrap with seeds inside, printed in water-soluble ink. After the festival: soak, plant in the coir pot provided, water with patience. It sprouts into herbs, flowers or vegetables, depending on the batch.

Guard the brother. Grow the garden. Both jobs done.

Inside the kit: one nazar thread rakhi on a seed paper base, one seed paper greeting card, roli and chawal pockets in cotton handmade marble paper, one coir pot, a cocopeat coin and a cow dung coin.

Materials: cotton thread, upcycled cotton scrap seed paper, cotton marble paper, water-soluble ink, coir pot, cocopeat, cow dung coin. Handcrafted in Agra, solar-powered workshop.
