Roses in full bloom, rendered with the ornate precision of traditional Indian invitation art. Gulab Patrika, literally "rose invitation," is a card that knows exactly what it is: a celebration of the flower that has symbolised love in Indian weddings for centuries. Rich, fragrant in spirit, and deeply rooted in tradition.

The rose motifs are detailed and layered, creating depth that rewards a closer look. It's the kind of patrika that older family members will hold up approvingly and younger guests will photograph for Instagram. Every card is handcrafted from seed paper made using upcycled cotton textile waste in our solar-powered workshop in Agra. After the celebrations, the roses on the card make way for real ones: plant it and watch basil, marigolds, or wildflowers grow.
