The Japanese concept of Nemawashi (neh-MAH-wa-she), which literally translates as "going around the roots” talks about the idea that people, like flowers, bloom in their own time, and in their own individual ways.
Blooms 2025, is a reminder that you, like the blooms of nature, be gentle with yourself, and work towards your growth in your own time, in you own way.
The calendar is made from waste cotton seed paper, set to a reusable pine-wood stand.
Before the start of each month, you can write down a prayer or a goal for the coming month, tear the paper and wet it, and plant it under a thin layer of soil. As the paper sprouts, nurture the goal or the prayer of the month with your love, water and light sunshine and watch it bloom.
