The Earthline rakhi is a round two-tone pompom disc, deep green meeting fresh chartreuse in a little earth-line, with a single seed at the exact centre and a heart of handmade seed paper beneath it. The greeting card is seed paper too, upcycled cotton scrap waiting for whatever you manage to write at half past eight on rakhi morning. The roli and chawal come portioned in pockets of cotton marble paper, so the tilak is sorted before the doorbell rings.

After the ceremony, all of it is garden material: soak overnight, plant in the coir pot provided, water with patience. It sprouts into herbs, flowers or vegetables, depending on the batch.
