About the Artist
Preeti Bhatnagar hails from Agra and currently works as an environmental consultant in Stockholm. An architect with a passion for sustainable and alternative building methods, she has devoted her professional life to bamboo and earthen construction. Beyond her vocation, Preeti’s artistic explorations—especially in watercolor—have brought balance and harmony to her life.
Known online as ‘Samanilai’—a Tamil word meaning ‘Balance’—this alias reflects her personal journey toward equilibrium, a perspective she found in the serene town of Auroville, Tamil Nadu. Through her art, Preeti invites us all to discover the subtle beauty in every corner of the world.
